December 2008
- In July 2008, Acting Education Minister, The Hon Brendan O'Connor, announced ongoing funding for PrimaryConnections.
- In excess of 900 Curriculum Leaders Australia wide have been trained in partnership with State jurisdictions and their associated PLFs.
- More than 100,000 PrimaryConnections units distributed throughout Australia and overseas.
- The new Indigenous Perspectives Report and DVD has now been published.
December 2007
- A 'pilot' unit (Plants in action) with the embedded Draft Indigenous Perspectives has been developed and is currently being trialled.
- PrimaryConnections releases the eighth published unit in the suite, It's electrifying.
- More than 60,000 PrimaryConnections units distributed throughout Australia and overseas.
August 2007
- PrimaryConnections shortlisted for Australian Awards for Excellence in Educational Publishing for 2007.
- More than 40,000 PrimaryConnections units distributed throughout Australia and overseas.
- Almost 300 trained professional learning facilitators located Australia-wide to conduct a range of professional learning.
March 2007
- A further 120 PrimaryConnections Professional Learning Facilitators are trained in Canberra in January 2007.
- Three new PrimaryConnections curriculum resource units are published and available for sale from January 2007.
- Minister for Education Science and Training Julie Bishop announces a $1m Awards for Excellence scheme for Australian Universities who incorporate PrimaryConnections into their pre-service primary education courses.
October 2006
- PrimaryConnections wins the 2006 Australian Publishers Association Award for Excellence in Educational Publishing in the Primary Teaching and Learning category.
- Federal Minister for Science, Education and Training, Julie Bishop formally announces $3 million funding for Stage 3 of the PrimaryConnections project.
- The second Professional Learning Facilitator workshop will be held in Canberra from 17–19 January 2007.
July 2006
- PrimaryConnections is shortlisted for Australian Award for Excellence in Educational Publishing for 2006.
- Four PrimaryConnections curriculum resource units are published and available for sale.
- Eighty-eight PrimaryConnections professional learning facilitators are trained and are available to conduct professional development for schools.
