Associate Professor Mike Wheatland is a solar astrophysicist with more than 20 years’ experience. His research publications include papers on solar activity, solar flare statistics, coronal magnetic fields, coronal heating, and solar–terrestrial relations, as well as more diverse topics in theoretical and computational physics. At the University of Sydney Mike teaches undergraduate physics and computational physics.
