Amy Prendergast

Dr Amy Prendergast completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge in the Department of Archaeology, using marine and terrestrial gastropod shells to study paleoclimate, seasonality and seasonal foraging strategies at archaeological sites in Libya and Lebanon. De Prendergast currenlty works at the University of Melbourne and her research interests include palaeoclimate recontruction, human-environment interaction and natural hazards, particularly palaeotsunamis. She has also worked as a research scientist at Geoscience Australia, examining the Holocene geological record for evidence of past tsunamis.
