The Australian Academy of Science and the National Museum of Australia are joining together to award outstanding original research by university students in Australian science history or Australian environmental history.
Media are invited to join Museum special guest speaker Dr Mike Smith and Academy Chief Executive Dr Sue Meek for the ceremony, to be held tomorrow at the National Museum of Australia.
The three Student Essay prize winners were chosen by members of the Academy's National Committee for History and Philosophy of Science, and the National Museum of Australia, from a national pool of entries.
