The Academy’s popular online science information site, Nova: Science in the news, is being completely redeveloped thanks to a generous donation from Telstra.
Telstra has committed $1 million over three years to Nova, enabling the Academy to redesign the site based on user research and present topics in new and engaging ways.
In making the generous donation, Telstra recognised that the Academy could build on Nova’s large and loyal following to promote leadership in and understanding of technology and science throughout Australia and possibly internationally.
The Academy aims to launch the new-look site in mid-2015. As always, the involvement of Fellows with the Nova program is welcome—its success depends on the expertise of Fellows in particular to maintain a high standard of scientific rigour. Contact Sarah Tynan or Robyn Diamond for more information.
