The Early- amd Mid-Career Researcher (EMCR) Forum of the Australian Academy of Science invites you to an afternoon networking and learning about what the EMCR Forum does and how you can be a part of it.

Come along and enjoy drinks and nibbles while listening to ARC Future Fellow, Professor Michael Breadmore talk about "Making cross discplinary research fly as an early- and mid-career researcher."

Talk to current members of the EMCR Forum and consider becoming a member yourself in 2016: applications open 7 September 2015.

The EMCR Forum's mission is to serve as the voice of Australia's early- and mid-career researchers, championing improvement in the national research environment through advocacy. We focus on sustainable and transparent career structures, gender equity, stable funding policies, career development opportunities, and raising awareness of issues facing the future of science.
