Hello all you lovely EMCRs! We hope you are all coping well over this strange year. The EMCR Forum Executive has been hard at work and we have lots of great news for you!
In this newsletter you will meet our intern, Andrew Ray—he’s great! We also go ‘On the job’ with food agility researcher Madeline Mitchell, and learn how inspiring EMCR and Young Tall Poppy Katie Sizeland acquired her love for collagen biomaterials. Kate Secombe describes the 2020 Virtual Lindau Nobel Laureates meeting on behalf of the Australian Young Scientists, while Malini Devadas from MD Writing and Editing reminds us that writing is a skill too! Last but not least, Raffaella Demichelis tells us her thoughts on STEAM—science, technology, engineering, ART and medicine.
Finally, our Agony Aunt addresses what's on all of our minds (other than job security)—Zoom fatigue. Plus, we find out what the EMCR Forum Executive has been up to these past few months.
Remember to get in touch if you would like to contribute to any of these sections, suggest an EMCR group or event to feature, or send in a question to our Agony Aunt.
