The Australian Academy of Science and the National Museum of Australia (NMA) are joining together to award outstanding original research by university students in Australian science history or Australian environmental history.
Media are invited to join Museum Director Andrew Sayers and Academy Secretary for Education and Public Awareness Professor Jenny Graves for the ceremony, to be held tomorrow at the National Museum of Australia.
The three Student Essay prize winners were chosen by members from the Academy's National Committee for History and Philosophy of Science, and the NMA, from a national pool of entries.
Directions: The Library of the National Museum of Australia is in the Annexe of the NMA, a long brick
building before you get to the Museum building itself. The best entrance is near the rounded window - a
ramp leads up to the doorway. Come through that doorway and then turn right.
