Accessing information on the science of immunisation and climate change has been made easier with the recent launch of the Academy’s first app for tablets.
The app, Science Q&A, presents the Science of immunisation: questions and answers and the Science of climate change: questions and answers in a tablet-friendly format, which is expected to reach new audiences.
Academy President, Professor Suzanne Cory, was joined in December by Australian Medical Association President, Dr Steve Hambleton, and internationally renowned immunologist, Sir Gus Nossal FAA, to launch the app at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute in Melbourne.
The app is available through the Apple App Store and Google Play or via the Academy website. It is currently being further developed for mobile phones.
