Launch: National Nanotechnology Research Strategy

The Australian Academy of Science will tomorrow launch a new strategy to improve community health and environmental stewardship, aid national security and revitalise Australian manufacturing.

The National Nanotechnology Research Strategy draws together contributions from 50 researchers from universities, government research organisations and industry.

It will be launched tomorrow, Friday 7 December by Senator the Hon Kate Lundy, Minister Assisting for Industry and Innovation, at the Research School of Physics and Engineering at the Australian National University.

Pic fac: Following the launch, Senator Lundy and Australian Academy of Science Vice President and Secretary for Physical Sciences, Professor Chennupati Jagadish, will visit nanotechnology labs with a nanotechnology researcher.
