Early- and mid-career researchers

Welcome to the EMCR Forum

Welcome to the Early- and Mid-Career Researcher Forum. The Forum is run by and for early- and mid-career researchers across science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in Australia. Here you will find information, resources, and contacts designed to support your career development in STEM. Whether you’re a recent PhD graduate in academia, working in the private sector, or contributing to government initiatives, the EMCR Forum is here to help you connect, grow and succeed.

The EMCR Forum is a Category 3 member of the International Science Council (ISC), connecting it to a global network of scientific organisations and stakeholders. This membership enables the Forum to participate in international discussions, advocate for EMCRs, and contribute to shaping global research and policy agendas, strengthening its role in the broader scientific community.
