Ideas needed for Future Earth initiative

October 07, 2015

A group of experts is asking members of the scientific community and the Australian public for ideas and suggestions to guide a strategic plan for sustainability science.

The Australian Academy of Science’s Future Earth Australia project aims to build a long-term plan for sustainability research in partnership with academia, government, non-government organisations and the private sector. The plan aims to enable Australia to facilitate, coordinate and promote research which tackles sustainability issues.

Future Earth Australia is asking interested groups to contribute to the plan by ranking what research priorities it should focus on and by providing a clearer picture of existing sustainability projects.

Take the survey here.

Future Earth Australia is also holding roundtables in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Brisbane. Register your interest.
