Nobel Laureate and Academy Fellow Professor Brian Schmidt AC FAA FRS will be heading up one of Australia's leading universities.
Professor Schmidt, who was elected to the Academy in 2008, will be leading the Australian National University (ANU) from 1 January 2016.
