Professor Guoxiu Wang is internationally acclaimed for his pioneering contribution to advanced battery technology, single-atom catalysis, electrochemistry and materials chemistry. His research on redox-active molecules has set world records in lithium-air battery performance. Professor Wang has invented non-flammable solid-state gel polymer electrolytes, significantly improving the safety and efficiency of lithium batteries. Furthermore, his innovative strategies for single-atom catalysis have propelled advancements in green hydrogen production. Professor Wang's work has not only achieved breakthroughs in battery performance but also played a crucial role in creating safer, high-performance energy storage solutions, which are vital for the global transition to renewable energy.
